To know Wes was to love him. His contagious smile, sense of humor, natural charisma and genuine positive influence is sorely missed from this world. The Wes Carr Foundation was established to celebrate his remarkable life and lasting legacy, and to carry forward his spirit by continuing to make a positive impact in his name. Donations support brain aneurysm research and help raise awareness to advance early detection and treatment.

Wes grew up in Corona Del Mar, California, and attended St. Margaret’s Episcopal School before continuing on to Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
He was the kind of friend people spend a lifetime hoping to find. From Orange County to Dallas, Wes brought people together effortlessly. He always found a way to bring fun to even the most routine parts of life and was someone you could always trust. His sense of humor was hilariously offbeat, his fashion choices uniquely his own, and his ideas for what to do next were often unexpected, but always memorable.
Wes was unapologetically and authentically himself, and that authenticity made his presence magnetic. In just 21 years, he packed in more joy, connection, and adventure than many do in a lifetime.
He is deeply loved and dearly missed.
